Alumni Officer Gerylaine Campos says Goodbye

Dear AUC Alumni,

After five wonderful years as your Alumni Officer, I am moving on to a new role! It has been a joy to work with AUC alumni over the past half-decade, witnessing many cultural shifts among students and alumni alike. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, which saw us losing and then refinding personal connections, our community has remained resilient.

We have shared many wonderful memories together. From the pub quiz on the boat back in 2019 to the Homecoming celebration for our 2020 graduates, and more recently, the AUC Fuck Up Night, we have connected and shared in many different ways. These moments were made possible, of course, by the incredible efforts of past AUCAA Board members who volunteered their precious free time to support the alumni community. Thank you to my dearest Board members for being one of the most enjoyable parts of my job.

I always say in my graduation speech that just because your time at AUC has ended, it doesn’t mean your AUC experience is over. Although I’m not an alumna myself, I plan to take this message to heart as I move forward. I hope to exemplify the AUC values and lessons learned during my time here and make even a small impact in the world. I encourage you, as living examples of our values, to continue making an impact in your communities as well.

Please connect with me on LinkedIn so we can stay in touch! For the very last time, thank you for everything.

Best,

Gerylaine Campos
Alumni & External Relations Officer
