Join the AUCAA Board as a General Board Member
Are you passionate about building connections, organizing events, and bringing people together? The AUC Alumni Association (AUCAA) is looking for an enthusiastic alum to join our board as General Board Member and help shape the future of our alumni community.
We’re looking for individuals who are excited to contribute their ideas, connect with fellow alumni, and play an active role in strengthening the AUC alumni network – whether through events, communications, or new initiatives you’re eager to launch.
No prior board experience is required. Whether you’ve recently graduated or have years of professional experience, we welcome alumni from all backgrounds, professional paths, and cohorts to apply. We believe that diverse perspectives and ideas are essential to building a vibrant and inclusive alumni community.
What you’ll be doing
Tasks may include, but are not limited to:
Coordinating an alumni mentoring programme;
Organizing both professional and social alumni events;
Developing AUCAA policies and new initiatives;
Representing AUCAA at events and hosting them;
Conducting interviews with alumni;
Creating copy for social media and promoting our events through our communication channels.
What we’re looking for
Team players who enjoy collaborating and are flexible with tasks;
Strong communicators and networkers;
Alumni based in the Netherlands, available to attend monthly meetings in Amsterdam and alumni events (speaking Dutch is not required, but an interest in Dutch current events is a plus);
Someone who’s able to commit approximately 10 hours a month for two years.
