Cinema & Conversation: An AUC Alumni–Student Film Night

Are you an AUC alum who wants to revisit big ideas? Or a student eager to take them beyond the classroom?

Join the AUC Alumni Association on 24 March 2026, 18:20h at Studio/K for a special edition of Cinema & Conversation!

We’ll host a private screening of L’étranger, followed by an in-depth post-screening  discussion and naborrel - bringing alumni and current students together for an evening of film and food for thought.

We’ll dive into the films themes and cinematic approach, together with:

  • Allard den Dulk - AUC lecturer in film philosophy and existentialism

  • Roosje van der Kamp - film critic & journalist (Het Parool, VPRO, de Filmkrant) and AUC alum

The ticket costs €10,-, which includes access to the film screening, the post-screening discussion, and a drink.

Limited spots available – TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE SOON!

About the film:
Camus’ classic existentialist novel is brought dramatically alive by François Ozon. Meursault (Benjamin Voisin) is a Frenchman in Algiers; circumstances lead him to kill an Arab man. But it is his personality – his indifference to people and their values – that goes on trial.

We hope to see you there!
